This is the ultimate in cookery student survival! Learn how to cook and make essential meals for life! Choose from our variety of menus. Since 2005 Fairyhouse Cookery School has been providing high quality, hands-on cookery workshops to Transition Year students.
Our workshops introduce students to a variety of techniques using tasty recipes in a relaxed and informal environment.

The workshop runs from 10am to 2pm (Monday to Thursday)
- Cook in teams
- Learn hands-on kitchen skills and techniques
- Read recipes & prepare ingredients and equipment required
- Choosing Ingredients
- Planning (in order to cook fast fresh food)
- Organize kitchen workstations
- Preparation of Recipes – Cooking Equipment & Knife Skills
- Cooking – Safety, Timing & Testing for Doneness
- Cook and taste nutritious and tasty dishes
The workshop runs from 10am to 2pm (Monday to Thursday)

- When we confirm a date, complete the online booking form and forward payment to Fairyhouse Cookery School, Fairyhouse Road, Ratoath, Co Meath.
- The minimum price payable is €400 and this is based on 20 children.
- Numbers greater than 20 is charged at €18 / child.
- The maximum number is 28 children.
- We accept cheques, credit cards and laser cards and a deposit is payable at time of booking.
- Cheques payable to FAIRYHOUSE FOOD & WINE SCHOOL.

- Recipe sheets are emailed to the school for copying and distribution to students following the course.
