I’m Billie, proud owner of Fairyhouse Cookery School. My interest in food and cooking inspired me to build the school in 2005 but my background and real passion is teaching. Our success is due to this friendly, easy going way of teaching cooking skills that gives you lots of tips for techniques and tastes to ensure you put good food on the table for family and friends to enjoy.- Owner & Cook
The Teaching Team
Together as a team myself and Liz love nothing more than seeing others have a great time; cooking, laughing, tasting, discussing, questioning, eating and getting enthused about their own ability to cook fresh, simple and delicious food. Our small group courses are designed to offer a wide choice of themes to suit you, whatever your cooking skills or experience. It’s our fresh and vibrant approach and easy going way of teaching that will ensure you are inspired, educated and above all entertained!
Tara Walker from ‘The Tasty Tart’ cookery school is our regular guest chef who with her experience and background in the restaurant business adds a generous amount of ‘gourmet’ to our courses.
Our team of assistants that make the cookery school work! They ensure customers can relax away from the sink and concentrate on all things foodie during a cookery course. They have a great connection with the kids attending courses and cooking parties and ensure they enjoy their time and learn to cook and taste good food.
