We appreciate new customers and enjoy plenty of return visits from previous customers so it’s a pleasure to be able to provide the best value for money at the cookery school and lots of attractive special offers to choose from whether it’s ‘cooking buddy’ discounts or seasonal offers throughout the year.
Not only do we offer a warm welcome, but we keep our cookery classes small (max. 14 people on the hands-on courses), so there’s lots of individual attention and everyone enjoys learning at the same pace. We’ve been teaching cookery courses for over a decade and our classes are guaranteed to tempt your taste buds, stir up your imagination and we’ll crack a few jokes along the way.
Fairyhouse Cookery School is in the heart of the countryside yet we’re only 25 minutes from Dublin city centre and 15 minutes from the M50. We are easy to get to wherever you are in Ireland, you can find out more information and print directions from our Contact Us page.
The school’s beautifully landscaped garden provides parking for up to 12 cars. The school was purpose built in 2005 for cookery demonstrations and hands-on practical classes and it’s designed to feel as close to a home kitchen as possible so that any skills or recipes you learn with us can be easily replicated in your home.
Sit back and relax in our large demo room where you can watch our Instructors present the steps involved in each recipe using an overhead mirror to clearly view the goings-on at the demonstration island.
For the ‘hands-on’ courses, there are six cook-stations allowing course participants to cook together in teams with the help of 1 Instructor to 6 enthusiastic foodies, so there’s lots of personal attention. The warm and friendly atmosphere at our cookery school makes it a great place to cook, eat and discuss food. Our courses are designed to offer a wide choice of themes to suit everyone regardless of skill or previous experience.
The bistro-style dining room with its view to the garden and the countryside provides a pleasant atmosphere for a well deserved post-cook rest and enjoy tasting the fruits of your cookery course. The deck serves as our outdoor teaching room (whatever the weather!) for barbecue and al fresco cookery classes.
I don’t know how else to put it. The fact is even after 10 years, we still seem to attract a very friendly, cheerful class of attendees. Why not join us!
